WORK WITH ME

Full Family Session

Cost - $250.00 (All inclusive)

Deposit - $100 at time of booking

This type of shoot is the ideal option for those looking for a large variety of high resolution photographs of their friends, family and their loved ones without the sting of having to pay for high cost printing! The price is all-inclusive of the session and the high resolution digital files on USB.  You can use these high resolution files for unlimited prints and enlargements. From a full family session you can expect to receive at least 50-70 (often more) professionally edited images that tell a beautiful story of your awesome family.

Inclusions:

  • 1 ½ to 2 hours of photography

  • Your own personal gallery on my website that will allow you to show the images to your family and friends

  • All images supplied on USB - having the high resolution images means that you can print the photos yourself, so there are no compulsory additional print charges, minimum spends or nasty surprises!

Additional time can be added for  $95.00 per hour – this includes the editing of any additional photos taken during this extra time.

What to expect

Photo sessions usually take about 1 ½ to 2 hours. We'll meet at the selected location and go over any special photo requests or needs you have, and then we’ll get shooting! I prefer outdoor locations for family photos so kids are free to roam and have fun. I don’t ask your kids to smile, I don’t like cheesy grins! I don’t particularly like having my photo taken, so I know how it feels, I try to capture candid images as much as possible, then pose a few to get some keepers for the wall.

We’ll do lots of different poses, backgrounds, and walk around our location to get new perspectives. It’s about keeping things relaxed, and not making it all about posing or stiff smiles. I’ll guide you through the session and let you know where to stand and look. If you don’t know what to do, just ask. I promise I am friendly (and a bit crazy!)

Location choice

I like to create candid and natural looking photographs, that’s why my first choice is to always be outdoors using natural light. Location is one of the most important things to choose for your photo shoot, it really enhances your personality and atmosphere of the shoot. So it’s important to think about what you like: nature, urban, rustic, casual, grunge?

The time of day is important as well. Be aware of the sunset time when booking your session. If you want those beautiful back-lit type of images, then we should start the session about an hour and a half prior to sunset. For outdoor photography, that’s known as the ‘golden hour’. This is the best time to get that beautiful afternoon glow in your photographs.

Of course, I am always open to new and unique places, and am happy to work with specific location requests. For locations further afield (such as the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast) please contact me.

What to wear & getting ready

It’s the number one question everyone always asks......”What should I wear?” You need to feel comfortable, beautiful and relaxed in your own skin so I recommend that you choose your clothing in advance and make sure that the choices are comfortable and attractive. It’s best to avoid large distracting logos on the front of shirts and avoid dressing everyone in the SAME thing. Choose coordinating colors, but not matchy, matchy!

Leave plenty of time to get ready for your photo session. When a family shows up rushed and disorganised, it sets the tone for a rushed and disorganised session. Give yourself some extra time so that you are ready well before it’s time to head out that door.

Booking your session
Our first conversations are always about you and your ideas. My aim is to create that wonderful piece of artwork that stirs emotions in you and your family every time you walk past it. Together we will choose locations, styles, props and anything else that you want included. A date and time will be chosen, and the session deposit paid.
After your session

It usually takes about two weeks to edit and prepare your gallery. At that point, I will send you an email with your gallery link and password. Once final payment is made all digital files on USB will be mailed to you.Through the editing process, my goal is to make your photos look as natural as possible while still making you look 110% your best.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

I'm looking forward to working with you!
